What a golden night in Paris it was! Australia has kicked off its campaign with three gold medals, all won by incredible women! 🥇
Grace Brown smashed the field in the Women's Individual Time Trial Cycling event to claim Australia's first gold in Paris. Ariarne Titmus defended her 400m freestyle title, to take home gold and become the first Aussie woman to defend a swimming medal since Dawn Fraser. Mollie O'Callaghan, Shayna Jack, Emma McKeon and Meg Harris swam away with gold and the record in the 4x100m freestyle relay.
