Another huge night of sport for our Aussie women in Paris - surely their backs are starting to get sore from carrying the gold medal count? 🥇
Molly O’Callaghan has claimed gold and set a new record in the Women’s 200m Freestyle with a time of 1:53.27. Just behind her was fellow Aussie, Ariarne Titmus who finished with silver.
Standing on the top step together, it marks the first time Australia has finished 1-2 in an Olympic swimming final since Ian Thorpe beat home Grant Hackett in the men's 400m freestyle at Athens in 2004.
Meanwhile, the Hockeyroos remain undefeated in Paris after a 4-0 win over Great Britain, and our Rugby Sevens women are into the semi-final after a 40-7 win over Ireland.
Plus many more amazing feats across the sporting codes, but for now, onto the next day ....
